Jeep - Boat - Jeep
Quickest way to go! Leaves daily from Monteverde / La Fortuna. Departs at 8:00 am from Monteverde and 8:30 am from La Fortuna. This trip takes about 3 hours and is door to door. As the name suggests this is a taxi ride to the lake, a boat across the lake and then another taxi on to your hotel. 2.5 hours by car and .5 hours by boat. There are private transfers available to Monteverde from anywhere in Costa Rica. Vehicles range
from 15 passenger minivans to 4x4 ‘jeeps'. Services are hotel to hotel with driver and air
